Problem Solving
As a teacher, problem solving is something that we must tackle on a daily bases. My problem solving strategies focus on communication and understanding. This skill helps my classroom run smoothly no matter what conflicts may arise.
Spanish Proficiency
My proficiency in Spanish allows me to communicate with students and caregivers to ensure all students succeed in my classroom. In a classroom with English learners, my knowledge of Spanish will help them feel comfortable asking me for help, and will make the transition from their first language to English much smoother.
