Bio
A little about me: I am an enthusiastic beginning teacher with a strong commitment to social justice. I make my classroom an engaging space where all students feel safe and eager to learn new things and make mistakes along the way. I look forward to bringing my energy and teaching philosophy into your school, and to collaborating with the educational team to provide engaging instruction for all students!
January 2021 - May 2021
Teaching Practitioner, Thomas Edison Charter Academy
Designed and taught interdisciplinary lessons in preparation for lead teaching at end of semester
Regularly facilitated Zoom functions such as breakout rooms and screen sharing
Worked with lead teacher to design and implement rewards system to increase student participation
Practiced classroom management techniques
Served as a Spanish/English translator in parent-teacher conferences and assisted in the development of assessments for student report cards
